1. Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024)

The filmmakers shot multiple scenes in Budapest, Norway, Jordan, and Abu Dhabi. The costume designers drew inspiration from the sand and rocks in Jordan to create the stillsuits.

2. Aladdin (2019)

They filmed the scene where Aladdin frees the Genie from the lamp and wishes to become Prince Ali in Wadi Rum!

3. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Wadi Rum brought the desert planet Pasaana to life in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The movie even earned an Oscar nomination for its spectacular visuals.
